Nicholas Hoult, who starred in Clash of the Titans and About a Boy, has signed on for Jonathan Levine’s adaptation of Isaac Marion’s zombie romance novel “Warm Bodies,” Summit Entertainment has confirmed to ComingSoon.net.
The story centers on an existentially tormented zombie who begins an unlikely friendship with the girlfriend of one of his victims and starts a chain reaction that will transform him and his fellow zombies.
Hoult is also attached to two major upcoming films, X-Men: First Class in the role of Henry McCoy (AKA Beast) and Jack himself in Jack the Giant Killer.
Levin, who directed The Wackness and All the Boys Love Mandy Lane, will also adapt the screenplay. Production on the film is slated to begin this summer.
