Paul Dano has signed on for a film called He Loves Me, which will reunite the actor with Little Miss Sunshine directors Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris, reports The LA Times.
The high concept script arrives courtesy of Zoe Kazan, Dano’s actual girlfriend, who will also appear in the film as a woman that Dano’s character, a struggling writer, wills into existence by writing her to love him.
Dano, in addition to appearing in Little Miss Sunshine, has met with dramatic success in films like There Will Be Blood and Where the Wild Things Are. Kazan (the granddaughter of director Elia Kazan), has appeared in a number of projects as well, including The Savages and Revolutionary Road.
