Vanity Fair had a chance to talk to Scottish actress Kelly MacDonald, whose first film appearance in Danny Boyle’s Trainspotting in 1996 earned her attention but who lately has been wowing audiences as part of the cast of HBO’s “Boardwalk Empire,” and they’ve learned that she’s been cast in the role of the Ravenclaw house ghost known as “The Grey Lady” in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2.
The interview doesn’t have a lot to say about the movie or the size of MacDonald’s role in it, but you can read it over on Vanity Fair.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 comes out on July 15, 2011.
