EW has released their cover for the week and it features none other than Felicity Jones and Diego Luna from the upcoming Rogue One: A Star Wars Story front and center! The magazine also confirms the long-standing rumor that the original big bad in the galaxy, Darth Vader, will return for the film. Check it out in the gallery below!
Additional details on Rogue One will be released throughout the week, though one new piece of information we now know is that the Imperial Walkers (seen in both the trailer, and now the cover) are actually modified AT-ATs called AT-ACTs, a taller and slimmer version of the walker used for shipping cargo instead of combat.
Lucasfilm previously announced a Rogue One: A Star Wars Story panel on Friday, July 15 for the upcoming Star Wars Celebration that will feature director Gareth Edwards and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, along with “some special guests.” Stay tuned for our coverage straight from the ExCeL London Exhibition Centre as we learn even more about the first standalone Star Wars!
