Jeremy Renner spilled the beans to Kultur (via Twitchfilm) that he and Noomi Rapace (The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and sequels) will star in Paramount’s Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters.
Tommy Wirkola (Dead Snow) is set to direct the film, which takes place 15 years after the siblings’ incident at the gingerbread house. The two are now specialized bounty hunters looking to put down the cackling black-hat set. Wirkola wrote the script with Dante Harper.
We’re not sure where this project would fall in Renner’s schedule, as he’s getting ready to shoot both Mission: Impossible 4 and The Avengers.
