RooneyMara.net has posted two (albeit small) photos of Rooney Mara in character on the Los Angeles set of David Fincher’s The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Also starring Daniel Craig, Stellan Skarsgard, Robin Wright and Max von Sydow, the adaptation of Stieg Larsson’s book is scheduled for a December 21, 2011 release.
The first book in the crime thriller trilogy “The Millennium Series” describes the mystery surrounding the long-unsolved disappearance of an heiress. A journalist recently dinged by a libel case and a young female hacker try to resolve it, stirring up bundles of personal and industrial corruption along the way.
