Jeremy Piven and Kate Walsh are starring in indie ensemble drama Waska, directed by Gaby Dellal (On a Clear Day), says Variety.
Thomas Dekker, Lynn Collins, Mira Sorvino, Elizabeth McGovern and Joseph Morgan also star in the movie, now filming in Calgary. Catherine Trieschmann wrote the script based on the novel “Angels Crest” by Leslie Schwartz.
The story centers on a young father who loses his son, throwing the community into disarray at the time of Waska — the first snowfall of the year, which is magical but often treacherous.
