Whiplash is a movie I have gone back and watched at least a handful of times since I first saw it, and I can’t help but marvel every time I watch J.K. Simmons‘ performance, whether he is chastising and cussing out his students or hurling cymbals at Miles Teller‘s head. Simmons absolutely owns his role and it is always a sight to see.
