A new four-minute preview of Fantastic Four aired last night during “American Ninja Warrior” and not only that, it includes another peek at Deadpool, which is essentially the same one you got yesterday, but with different voice over. However, don’t worry, more Deadpool will be here this evening as the new red band trailer debuts on “Conan” tonight and will be online around the same time with a green band trailer following later this week.
As for Fantastic Four, Fox isn’t screening this one here in Seattle until Wednesday evening. Yeah, less than 24 hours before the film actually hits theaters, which typically isn’t a good sign. Slashfilm pointed to some positive reactions from fans that caught an early screening, but whenever a studio hides a movie to this extent it makes me nervous.
Fantastic Four, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.
