The final, final numbers aren’t yet in, but as expected yesterday, Sunday estimates for Jurassic World are higher than originally thought and Variety is now reporting the film has eclipsed the $207 million opening weekend for The Avengers with current estimates at $209 million for the dinosaur sequel with final numbers yet to come.
