Today’s ratings bulletin is a mixed bag beginning with an R-rating for Oliver Hirschbiegel‘s new movie 13 Minutes, which premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival earlier this year and will be released by Sony Classics later this year. The pic, also known as Elser, seems to be getting much higher marks than the Downfall director’s Hollywood outing, Invasion, way back in 2007 and the all-but-ignored Diana a couple years ago.
Next is Legend which gets an R-rating as we would expect as Tom Hardy takes on the dual role of playing London’s most notorious gangsters, Reggie and Ron Kray.
Two PG-13 ratings of note, one for Masterminds and the other for Suffragette. The first is a comedy, the other is an awards season contender. I’ve listed the two ensemble casts below… I’m pretty sure you’ll be able to match them up appropriately:
- Zach Galifianakis, Owen Wilson, Kristen Wiig, Jason Sudeikis, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, Ken Marino, Devin Ratray and Kevin J. O’Connor
- Meryl Streep, Carey Mulligan, Helena Bonham Carter, Romola Garai, Ben Whishaw, Brendan Gleeson, Anne-Marie Duff, Samuel West, Adrian Schiller and Geoff Bell
Finally, Shaun the Sheep Movie scores a PG rating for all that “rude humor” that talking sheep keeps spouting.
