A trio of new pictures from Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation have arrived along with word the film will premiere in Vienna at the Vienna State Opera on July 23 with stars Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson and director Christopher McQuarrie in tow.
Rogue Nation is the fifth film in the Mission: Impossible franchise and sees Tom Cruise back again as Ethan Hunt as the IMF has been disbanded, leaving Ethan and his team out in the cold, facing a network of highly skilled special agents known as the Syndicate. These highly trained operatives are hellbent on creating a new world order through an escalating series of terrorist attacks.
Ethan’s team includes Benji (Simon Pegg), Brandt (Jeremy Renner), Luther (Ving Rhames) and newcomer, the disavowed British agent Ilsa Faust played by Rebecca Ferguson, seen in the picture below delivering a flying elbow. Alec Baldwin, Sean Harris and Simon McBurney co-star.
Mission: Impossible 5 hits theaters on July 31.
