“Mad Men” writer/producer Marti Noxon has been hired to write the script for DreamWorks Studios’ redo of the 1985 horror comedy Fright Night.
Before her work on AMC’s “Mad Men,” Noxon was a writer/producer on “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Angel.”
In the 1985 original, written and directed by Tom Holland, was a horror comedy about a teenager who discovers that his neighbors are vampires. The updated version will keep the comedy-horror tone while modernizing the effects.
