“Vanity Fair” continues their celebration of Star Wars Day with another picture from Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens, this one featuring Gwendoline Christie (Captain Phasma on “Game of Thrones”) as Captain Phasma, an officer of the villainous First Order in the upcoming sequel.
The character was originally written into the screenplay as a man, but upon reflection director J.J. Abrams revealed they switched things up before start of production.
