This coming Monday is May 4th and in Star Wars speak that means it’s “May the 4th”, which has become something of a “Star Wars Day” as I’m sure the online trend of day’s “May the 4th be with you” will be even greater this year as it’s the first year in ten years that we have a new Star Wars movie hitting theaters. And while Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens won’t hit theaters until Dec. 18 that’s not stopping what is sure to be a year long marketing campaign from continuing, this time in the pages of “Vanity Fair”, which has revealed the cover for their June 2015 issue featuring Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Chewbacca alongside new Star Wars characters Rey (Daisy Ridley), Finn (John Boyega) and the droid BB-8.
The mag promises plenty of new content, including videos and photos, tomorrow as well as a new character portrait if you sign up for their newsletter by 8 PM EST today.
Annie Leibovitz shot the cover, which you can see below, and you can expect it to hit newstands around mid-May.
