‘The Bourne Ultimatum’ Location Map – Tracking Jason Bourne Across Seven Countries

Ending the Bourne trilogy with a jolt, director Paul Greengrass delivers the most widespread installment yet with The Bourne Ultimatum. Picking up where The Bourne Supremacy left off, with Bourne bleeding in Moscow, the action then finds us visiting locales in France, England, Spain, Morocco and finally the U.S.

This was easily the most challenging map of the three to make, primarily because I almost tried to map the entire sequence in London’s Waterloo Station and because once the action moves to Tangier, Morocco it was nearly impossible to find any of the locations used as streets didn’t seem to exist and there is no Google street view in the city.

Nevertheless, I try to make as much sense of all the commotion as possible to the point I was even able to locate one of the slight turns Bourne makes in New York while being chased by Paz (Edgar Ramirez) thanks to a quick freeze frame and noticing the Freestyle Barbershop on W 25th St. in New York. I also spent way too much time exploring Waterloo and all the shots inside as you can actually get an inside view of Waterloo on Google Street Maps and see virtually every shot during that sequence, though it’s a rather time consuming effort.

I’m sorry if you’re visiting this post on a mobile phone, but you are going to want to at least be using a tablet device if not a full desktop or laptop to view the interactive map below.

To easily navigate the map you just need to click on the list of moments from the film in the left-hand column and the map on the right will change to preview information from each location. You’ll be met with addresses, images and in some cases clips from the film along with brief commentary on each location. Like any other time you use Google Maps, you can zoom in all the way down to street level and zoom back out. In some instances I have included a “More details” link, which will take you to a closer look at some locations to see how they appear now compared to how they appeared in the movie.

All the images used in the map are taken directly from the movie itself, so if you click on the “more details” link I’ve done my best in most situations to offer a street view that gives you the same look at the scene from the film.

NOTE: You will need Javascript enabled in order for this feature to work and an up-to-date web browser is suggested.

TIP: Several locations are tightly grouped in Prague and Paris so zoom in as you begin exploring the map for more detail. Additionally, clicking on the “More details” links on some of the locations will take you to a Google Street View.
