Star Wars news is a dime a dozen these days with Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens arriving later this year and news of 20 books that will be released between now and then to bridge the gap between Return of the Jedi and this new trilogy of films. It’s this last bit we address today as the plot synopsis for several of the upcoming Star Wars novels and prequel comics have arrived. Let’s have a look.

Now, finally, here’s an infographic from Star Wars Bibliothek (via The Playlist) that details the timeline for the current movies, television shows and books in release. What I’m assuming here, is that these are all sources that are believed to be part of official Star Wars canon as the timeline comes from the new book “A New Dawn“, which is set between Star Wars: Episode III and IV.
So, I guess, if you watch all those movies and television shows and read these specific books you’ll be all caught up on the Star Wars universe leading up to the December release of The Force Awakens.
