Variety has confirmed reports that Jim Sturgess and Kirsten Dunst will star in Juan Solanas’ $50 million sci-fi fantasy Upside Down, which is being described as a “Romeo and Juliet” story.
The film is in pre-production and will start shooting in Montreal in mid-February for a fall 2011 release.
Jim Skotchdopole (Man on Fire) will executive produce and Watchmen production designer Alex McDowell is also on board.
