Watch: First Look at ‘Sisters’, Starring Tina Fey and Amy Poehler

Judging from what I saw on Twitter, the Golden Globes wound up being a pretty solid little gathering, with Boyhood and The Grand Budapest Hotel taking home Best Picture trophies in their respective categories, but the one big complaint I saw was that there just wasn’t enough Tina Fey and Amy Poehler to satisfy the crowds. Well, you can rest easy, as Universal has just released a “first look” clip for the pair’s upcoming comedy Sisters.

If the title didn’t give it away — spoiler alert! — the two play sisters in the film, siblings who have lost touch but are summoned home to clean out their childhood bedroom before their parents sell the family house. The duo decide to throw one final rager in their childhood home, which turns into the cathartic experience that the ground-down adults really need.

The clip is short, twenty-one seconds in all, so frankly there isn’t a whole lot more to say here, but as a general rule I like what Fey and Poehler do, separately and together, so I think I can probably be down for this one. Sisters hits theaters December 18, so you’ve got a while to wait, but hopefully this clip will tide you over until the first trailer makes its way online in the coming months.
