A new French poster for David Fincher‘s Gone Girl has just arrived as chatter surrounding the film is surely going to start picking up as more long lead journalists start seeing the film and with the New York Film Festival premiere just around the corner.
The poster comes via Comme Au Cinema and has an eerie look to it with Rosamund Pike front and center as she plays Amy, the missing wife of Nick Dunne (Ben Affleck) whose gone missing on the couple’s fifth wedding anniversary. Under pressure from the police and a growing media frenzy, Nick’s portrait of a blissful union begins to crumble. Soon his lies, deceits and strange behavior have everyone asking the same dark question: Did Nick Dunne kill his wife?
Fincher directs the film based on Gillian Flynn‘s novel of which Flynn adapted for the screen. Following the NYFF premiere, Gone Girl will hit theaters on October 3.
