Poster for the Very Entertaining ‘The Guest’

Picturehouse will be releasing Adam Wingard‘s The Guest on September 17, shortly after it plays the Toronto Film Festival, but as I said previously, I was able to catch this last week and while I’ll be holding my review until the Toronto screening I will say I was highly entertained by this movie. Wingard has a wonderful talent for dark comedy meets thriller meets drama and Dan Stevens in the lead is excellent, though I did get a strong Bradley Cooper vibe from his appearance, something I think you can see in this new poster for the movie.

Stevens stars as a soldier who introduces himself to the Peterson family, claiming to be a friend of their son who died in action. After he’s welcomed into their home, a series of accidental deaths seem to be connected to his presence and while I could go on and on since I don’t think you can really spoil this movie, I’ll just say make sure to be familiar with this song.

Check out the poster below and if you missed the trailer I’ve included that as well.
