I cannot completely overlook Transformers: Age of Extinction. I know others have and that’s fine, but the film intrigued me to no end. It was loud, in your face and assaultive in ways I can’t say I ever experienced before in theaters, certainly beyond the realm of the first two films. Does that make it a good movie? No, not necessarily, but in the same way I was intrigued by the ideas in Transcendence and not the movie itself, I found my self drawn to the chaos and destruction of Age of Extinction.
Today, a behind the scenes look at the visual effects in the film has been released by effects house Method Studios and it’s a very brief look at the effects in the film, after all, it was ILM that provided about 90 minutes of effects for the movie as well as the stereoscopic work provided by the likes of Prime Focus and Legend 3D.
Check out the reel below.
Also, if you’ve never seen it, here’s an extensive look at the effects from Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
