“Great, now could you do it with a little more sarcasm this time?”
Some test footage for a Deadpool movie, you know, a spin-off of Ryan Reynolds character from the all-American classic, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, is something Reynolds has long fought for over at Fox. Last year Rob Liefeld, a comic book writer, made mention of some test footage for a movie based on the character was shot with Reynolds as the title character — full suit and all — with the current attached director Tim Miller. Now that footage has been leaked online in handheld, shaky camera phone vision.
The most recent draft of the screenplay was written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick and while Miller is currently attached, if this is what they’re using to pitch the thing… best of luck.
