You can rest easy, three videos from the set of Terminator: Genesis (aka Terminator 5) have appeared on YouTube, confirming the film from director Alan Taylor (Thor: The Dark World) will feature explosions in a post-apocalyptic setting.
In all seriousness, the videos look like they could be from McG‘s Terminator Salvation as much as they could be from any of the Terminator films, which only makes me wonder what will make this one different from any of the others?
Back again is Arnold Schwarzenegger whose appearance as an older Terminator has already been speculated upon and discussed as he’s joined by Jason Clarke as John Connor,Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor, Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese, J.K. Simmons, Dayo Okeniyi, Byung Hun Lee and Matt Smith as a new character said to have a strong connection to John Connor.
The film is set for a July 1, 2015 release.
