‘Transformers: Age of Extinction’ Features a Cigar-Chomping Robot

They had the hip-hop robot in Transformers in the form of Jazz. In Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen had Skids and Mudflap as well as Leonard Nimoy voicing a robot that needed a cane as well as another robot featuring wrecking balls as testicles. Now, Transformers: Age of Extinction will deliver the cigar-chomping robot you see above. I have no idea what the robot’s name is, but he is clearly old because he has a robot beard.

The image comes from the announcement video that played during “The Voice” last night announcing Imagine Dragons recorded an original song, “Battle Cry”, for the upcoming movie as well as contributed original music to the feature, recording cues with composer Steve Jablonsky and Hans Zimmer, the latter serving mostly as an assistant.

Transformers: Age of Extinction is set for a June 27 release. Check out the new video below.
