Woody Allen is 78-years-old and he just won’t quit. He has Magic in the Moonlight set to hit theaters on July 25, headlined by Emma Stone and Colin Firth and he’s already on to his next one.
Deadline brings the news and, as always, all we have is a star and not a shred of plot information. Allen scripted the feature which will star Joaquin Phoenix, serving as the first time the two will work together and word is it will begin shooting in July, most likely ready for the same time frame next year.
Phoenix is putting together a fantastic resume as of late after starring in The Master for Paul Thomas Anderson as well as PTA’s upcoming film, Inherent Vice along with the much lauded 2014 release, Her, which topped my 2013 Top Ten last year.
