When 20th Century Fox The Wrap confirms that along with news Michael Green (Green Lantern) will rewrite the screenplay.
Jack Paglen, who wrote the upcoming Wally Pfister thriller Transcendence, wrote the first draft of the script and it will reportedly be more in line with tone of the Alien films from the franchise of which it’s a part of and is expected to feature multiple ‘David’ androids, which means you can expect more than one Michael Fassbender.
Green’s involvement is not a huge surprise given he was also brought aboard to write the Blade Runner sequel for Ridley Scott, of which he is reportedly performing a final polish. Production, however, on Prometheus 2 is first priority and is scheduled to start this fall.
