This weekend isn’t looking to be as impressive as the last as Need for Speed is hoping to top $20 million, which makes me wonder what the predictions would be had it not been post-converted into 3D. I mean, that’s got to add a couple million to the end result if not more… right?
Laremy went with a $24.2 million predictions, but the readers aren’t feeling quite as confident in even that number, predicting an average of $23.2 million. One thing’s for sure, it’s not a good movie.
Next is a holdover from last weekend and both Laremy and the readers believe it will be Mr. Peabody & Sherman besting 300: Rise of an Empire, but looking at the predictions it could be a really close finish. I am curious to see just how far the 300 sequel falls, however, because it could be a big dip.
Finally, Tyler Perry‘s The Single Moms Club pulls up the rear, though the readers are giving it a $2.4 million larger prediction than Laremy’s $10 million. I have no idea whom to side with on this one.
I’ve included Laremy’s predictions and the average reader predictions directly below and I’ll be back on Sunday with box office estimates. To see Laremy’s full list of predictions and all 90 reader predictions for this weekend click here.
