Taken 3 is happening and Liam Neeson will return as still-retired CIA agent Bryan Mills, a man with a certain set of skills, for director Olivier Megaton (Taken 2) and now we know Maggie Grace will return as Mills’ daughter Kim.
Set to start shooting at the end of the month, the report from Deadline doesn’t make mention of a previous story suggesting Forest Whitaker will also play a part, but it also doesn’t say he won’t so I’m going to assume he’s still on board.
As far as the plot is concerned, Neeson recently told the Jonathan Ross Show, his return was contingent on one thing, “[O]nly as long as nobody gets taken!” My guess is the siblings of of Rade Serbedzija‘s character will be coming to the States to hunt down Mills in this one and Whitaker will likely play a partner/friend of Mills that ends up involved. But that’s just a guess.
I just hope Grace gets a chance to thrown grenades all over an unsuspecting city so as to geotarget where her father is being held hostage. Because that was great.
