We talked about the likelihood (or lack thereof) for a Sin City 3 Sin City: A Dame to Kill For has arrived offering us familiar looks at Jessica Alba as Nancy (still stripping and dancing on bar tops) and Mickey Rourke as Marv (still ugly as ever), but there is at least one new character we hadn’t seen yet, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Johnny
Johnny is a gambler character whose only mistake is beating the wrong gay in a game of poker. His story is one of three plot threads and the title of his is quite apt based on what we see here — “The Long Bad Night”. The other two are “A Dame to Kill For” featuring Josh Brolin replacing Clive Owen as Dwight who catches up with his ex (Eva Green) and then Marv’s story, “Just Another Saturday Night”.
Sin City: A Dame to Kill For also stars Rosario Dawson, Jaime King, Jamie Chung, Dennis Haysbert, Christopher Meloni, Ray Liotta, Juno Temple, Jeremy Piven, Bruce Willis, Julia Garner and Stacy Keach and is set to hit theaters on August 22… in 3D of course.
