The first trailer for The Wolverine is set to arrive next Wednesday, March 27, while one day before you’ll get the first trailer teaser. Yes, we are now making plans for trailer teasers. In advance of the trailer’s arrival, several images have been popping up here and there, but finally today three official pictures from the film have come available for me to share rather than scans from a magazine.
When it comes to the first two pictures directly below, Empire magazine says they come from a scene in which Logan (Hugh Jackman) is looking for an old friend of his from his days in a Nagasaki prison and producer Hutch Parker adds, “Effectively Logan saved him and this man is on his deathbed and is looking to give him a gift, to thank him for the life he’s had. But this gift draws Logan into a very complex and very unexpected world.”
Other than that, the picture above is features Wolverine with his claws out and bloody in battle.

Based on the celebrated comic book arc, The Wolverine finds Logan (Hugh Jackman), the eternal warrior and outsider, in Japan. There, samurai steel will clash with adamantium claw as Logan confronts a mysterious figure from his past in an epic battle that will leave him forever changed.
