A couple of days ago I added a couple of pictures to the Safe Haven page here on RopeofSilicon as well as updated the cast and synopsis to reflect the information Relativity had sent over. What was curious though, was I never realized Keira Knightley was no longer involved in the project and who was she replaced by? Julianne Hough. It was weird to begin with that Knightley would consider a Nicholas Sparks adaptation, but to be replaced by Hough is to go trolling in a completely different part of the sea.
Hough will star alongside Josh Duhamel in the Lasse Hallstrom-directed feature centering on a young woman escaping her past moves to a small North Carolina town, and falls for a loving widowed father, he heals her heart, and helps her escape the danger that threatens her.
