I didn’t see the prologue for The Dark Knight Rises in theaters, wanting to save the experience to see it for the first time as part of the finished film, but those that did virtually all complained about not being able to understand what Tom Hardy was saying as the film’s lead villain, Bane.
Well, the production and director Christopher Nolan seemed to indicate they had no interest in redubbing Hardy’s voice for the final film, but as this comparison below shows, they did, and quite significantly.
