The Hollywood Reporter says that Richard Wenk has sold a twist-laden untitled heist pitch to Overture Films.
State Street Pictures, the company run by director/producer George Tillman Jr. (Notorious), brought the pitch to Overture, where it has a production deal. Tillman and Robert Teitel from State Street are producing with Richard Arlook, who manages Wenk. Matt Pritzker is executive producing.
Wenk wrote the 2006 Warner Bros. pic 16 Blocks. He also wrote and directed Vamp and Just the Ticket.
