Fox Hires Writer for Hitman Sequel

IESB reports that 20th Century Fox has hired writer Kyle Ward to write the sequel to 2007’s Hitman, which made almost $100 million worldwide.

The first film, based on the video game, was directed by Xavier Gens and stars Timothy Olyphant, Dougray Scott, Olga Kurylenko, Robert Knepper, Ulrich Thomsen and Michael Offei.

Adrian Askarieh, Daniel Alter and Chuck Gordon will return as producers.

Ward wrote the upcoming Bruce Willis-starrer Kane & Lynch and also penned Fiasco Heights for Michael Bay’s Platinum Dunes.
