Columbia is certainly making a big push for the Total Recall remake this week as we first had the trailer teaser, then a motion poster, the first full trailer will debut this Sunday, April 1, and now we have the first poster featuring a fractured Colin Farrell as the film’s lead character, Douglas Quaid.
The film is a remake of the 1990 film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and aims to bring a new adaptation of the short story “We Can Remember It For You Wholesale” by Philip K. Dick. The story centers on Rekall, the company that can turn your dreams into real memories, and a factory worker named Douglas Quaid (Farrell) decides to take a perfect vacation from his frustrating life, opting for a life as a super-spy. But the procedure goes horribly wrong, and Quaid finds himself a hunted man, on the run from the police when he has to team with a rebel fighter (Jessica Biel) to find the head of the underground resistance (Bill Nighy) and stop the bad guys. Also part of the cast are Bryan Cranston, Kate Beckinsale, Bokeem Woodbine, Ethan Hawke and John Cho.
