Pixar’s ‘Brave’ Reminds Me of Disney’s ‘Robin Hood’ In New Extended Clip

This new two-and-a-half-minute clip from Pixar’s Brave is being a called a trailer, but considering it shows what would appear to be an uninterrupted clip from the film we’ll call it what it really is… a clip. Sure, they may have cut the scene down a bit to meet the time requirements, but a clip is a clip is a clip and in this one I was immediately reminded of a similar scene in Disney’s 1973 animated take on Robin Hood only the end results here are a bit different.

In the clip you’ll primarily hear the voice work of Kelly Macdonald as the lead character Merida and of Billy Connolly and Emma Thompson as her parents, King Fergus and Queen Elinor. Give it a watch below and for more on Brave, including yesterday’s debut of a new poster, click here.

Brave hits theaters on June 22.
