EW Debuts Five New Pictures from ‘The Dark Knight Rises’

Entertainment Weekly has debuted five new images from Christopher Nolan‘s The Dark Knight Rises on top of the cover image you see to the right.

We also get a quote from Nolan regarding the voice of Bane (Tom Hardy), something fans were complaining about understanding what he was saying after catching the prologue in front of Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol as well as the film’s first trailer.

Nolan tells EW, “I think when people see the film, things will come into focus. Bane is very complex and very interesting and when people see the finished film people will be very entertained by him.”

Personally, this is just funny to me. This is exactly why I didn’t want to see that six-minute prologue and why I do my best to not watch trailers. You want to see a film as a finished product, not as spoiler-filled snippets. Then again, what do I know?

The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters in its completed form on July 20. You can check out the four other images from EW’s preview below and get more where that Nolan quote came from right here.
