What a boring week it has been as the only thing that seems to be generating any source of news are new trailers. Sort of sad when the new releases can’t conjure up enough excitement to warrant any kind of interesting conversation, especially when both of them are sequels. You would think that since they followed up on a previous, successful film we could at least find interest in talking about them. Alas, that’s not the case.
Instead we can look forward to the further future with a new trailer for Aardman’s The Pirates! Band of Misfits, a film I’m interested in seeing based solely on the fact it’s a Claymation film from Aardman, but you add Chicken Run director Peter Lord and voice work from the likes of Hugh Grant, Martin Freeman and Brendan Gleeson to that and I’m sold. I don’t need to watch the trailer to know this is an animated feature I want to see.
