The Film Experience directs us to 3xtras where we find four rather intense posters for Pedro Almodovar’s upcoming feature The Skin That I Inhabit (La piel que habito) starring Antonio Banderas, Elena Anaya and Marisa Paredes.
The film is described as a loose adaptation of Thierry Jonquet’s “Tarantula” centering on a plastic surgeon (Banderas) who exacts terrible revenge on the man who raped his daughter. So yeah, it looks as if it might not end with a pretty picture.
The Skin That I Inhabit will almost assuredly unspool at Cannes this year and I must say, I cannot wait. Sony Pictures Classics has already picked it up for distribution later this year.
