Should we expect set photos and videos of the Tumbler running through walls next May? Well, if Michael Caine knows anything about the shooting schedule for The Dark Knight Rises we should as he tells Empire:
“Emma [Thomas], the producer, said we’d get the script in January. Christopher said: ‘Script in January, shoot in May, finish in November.'”
Not only does this establish a timeline until the shoot will likely get underway for the film, which is set to hit theaters on July 20, 2012, but it also gives you some idea on how many months left you have to wonder who else will be hired to star and who will be the villain.
Caine is also quoted saying, “Christopher is the most secretive guy in the world, he won’t tell you anything.” Good thing we have Michael Caine to spread the news eh? I have a hard time believing the shoot will get underway without the names of the villain being revealed. Will Tom Hardy play Hugo Strange as currently rumored? We should know soon enough.
