The big hubbub over James L. Brooks’ latest movie How Do You Know isn’t that it’s a potential Oscar contender or the fact it stars Reese Witherspoon, Owen Wilson, Paul Rudd and Jack Nicholson. Nope, it’s a big media frenzy on the heels of the film’s R-rating for the fact the characters utter a total of three eff-bombs in the film. According to The Hollywood Reporter the issue has been remedied and it has secured a PG-13 rating. While that new rating wasn’t in today’s MPAA update, I can assume it will be next week as the film makes way for a December 17 release.
That said, today we get our first look at the poster for the film, which involves a love triangle, with Rudd playing a white-collar executive vying for Witherspoon’s affections, and Wilson portraying a professional baseball pitcher who is also a love interest.
