Aaron Eckhart (The Dark Knight) is in talks to star opposite Nicole Kidman in Fox Searchlight’s big screen adaptation of David Lindsay-Abaire’s Broadway play Rabbit Hole, reports Variety.
John Cameron Mitchell (Shortbus) is directing and Kidman is producing through her Fox-based Blossom Films.
Lindsay-Abaire is adapting his story of a happily married couple whose lives are disrupted after their 4-year-old son is killed in a traffic accident and the redemptive journey they must undertake to regain happiness.
