I am going to pretend Amanda Seyfried isn’t starring in Dear John this weekend (which I’ve heard is as miserable as it looks) and continue to believe she has plenty of promise in the coming years and one of those major reasons is what I expect to be a major breakout performance in Chloe, a new film from Atom Egoyan that has already generated plenty of buzz around the film festival circuit. And just as luck would have it, Yahoo has the debut trailer for us to preview.
The film is set for a limited March 26 release from Sony Pictures Classics and is a remake of the French thriller Nathalie… The story centers on a married woman (Julianne Moore) who hires a prostitute (Seyfried) to find out whether her husband (Liam Neeson) is cheating on her. The prostitute, however, cons her about the nature of her husband’s fidelity, a move that puts the family in jeopardy.
