Will Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen be as corny as the first film or will it actually learn from its mistakes? I have not watched (and will not watch) the video below, but from what I understand it features the robot Bumblebee crying in a complete two-minute scene followed by a montage of footage from the upcoming sequel due in theaters on June 24. The video was just released by director Michael Bay on his website and was the footage previewed at this year’s ShoWest in Las Vegas.

Like I said, I’m not going to watch it since I have no desire to spoil the film (I still haven’t seen the first trailer). Last time around I got my hopes up based on the dark and adult-themed trailers only to be let down by a corny kid flick with dancing robots tip-toeing around a backyard. The effects were great, but the hammy goofball stuff didn’t appeal to me. Here’s hoping the sequel is an improvement.
