Paramount Pictures has bought the comedy spec script Grandma vs. Grandma from screenwriters Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg, says Variety.
The story revolves around two women with very different styles of child-rearing who babysit their grandkids for a month and compete for their affections.
Hurwitz and Schlossberg recently wrote a third installment in the “Harold & Kumar” franchise that’s in development at Mandate and New Line.
