I have no idea what this says about the state of movies and the outlook for the future, but ever since I added 45 images to the picture gallery for Twilight on October 10, 2008 that gallery has been the #1 gallery on RopeofSilicon.com ever since… that is until yesterday.
Yesterday Paramount Pictures sent out six new character posters for the upcoming Stephen Sommers film G.I. Joe, six posters I didn’t even promote in an article and yet the gallery has managed to become the most viewed gallery on the site. Now if I could just get the same audience to get interested in Criterion’s upcoming The Wages of Fear Blu-ray release on April 21 we may have something seriously brewing around here.
Considering this is a post regarding pictures I may as well tell you there are 17 new pictures from the B-movie sci-fi flick Alien Trespass right here, the 17 total pictures from G.I. Joe can be found here, a couple of new pics from Pixar’s Up can be found here and the full gallery for Sony’s Clive Owen and Naomi Watts bank thriller The International can be found here.
On top of that I believe I have the largest online gallery for current Best Picture nominee The Reader right here, 20 new images from The Pink Panther 2 right here, 30 total pictures from the new Friday the 13th movie here and for those that are listening to me regarding The Wages of Fear check out a pair of oil soaked pics right here.
As always the RopeofSilicon movie stills homepage can be found right here and is updated damn near everyday and if you aren’t finding the latest stills added to the site by going to the homepage this is the easiest place to go on a daily basis for your pictures fix.
One picture that didn’t make the Friday the 13th gallery can be found below as my dog Luke’s performance was cut from the film and therefore the below one sheet was never used.
