I didn’t see Crank until I rented it on Blu-ray and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed the all-out stupidity of it all and once again Jason Statham is back as Chev Chelios in Crank 2 only this time instead of running around to keep adrenaline pumping through his veins in an effort to stop an energy related poison from killing him he has undergone a heart transplant in which a fake heart has replaced his original heart and there is only one hour left on the battery. So, he has to run around town, find his old heart, keep his new heart charged by doing things such as shocking himself using a car battery all while having sex in crazy mixed up places with co-star Amy Smart.
I just added the poster for this flick right here and based on my latest MPAA update this film is rated R for frenetic strong bloody violence throughout, crude and graphic sexual content, nudity and pervasive language.
