Come Meet the Sultry Women of ‘The Spirit’

Everything I have seen related to Frank Miller’s The Spirit tells me it is going to be an awful movie. Well, almost everything. The most recent trailer left out a lot of the crap that made the previous trailers look so bad and now comes this latest featurette focused on the women in the film and it is actually a very well presented feature and something I bet Lionsgate wish they had thought of much earlier on.

When the trailer for The Spirit first popped up online they were, for the most part, dedicated to the women in an attempt to look stylized and sensual. However, the latest trailer dropped the silliness and decided to present the film as having an actual story, which left good room for the studio to present the women in their very own featurette. Now, when I talk about “the women” I am referring to Eva Mendes as Sand Saref, Scarlett Johansson as Silken Floss, Jaime King as Lorelei, Paz Vega as Plaster of Paris, Stana Katic as Morgenstern and Sarah Paulson as Ellen Dolan. Watching the featurette below and the trailer I added after it you would think this may actually be a good film.

The Spirit hits theaters on December 25, we’ll have to wait until then to see how it all pans out.
