Surprisingly enough in the comments on my “Who is the Most Overrated Director?” article there was not one mention of Quentin Tarantino, which either means that like me you all enjoy Tarantino’s flicks or those that believe he is overrated are too lazy to register because that article is getting quite a few reads. So, this means plenty of you should be interested in knowing that Diane Kruger (Helen from Troy) has joined the cast of Tarantino’s Inglorious Bastards along with Christoph Waltz and Paul Rust.
Kruger plays German actress Bridget Von Hammersmark, who figures prominently in a plot to sabotage the Nazis. It is a role for which Nastassja Kinski was first mentioned. Waltz, who is best known in Germany for his television work since 1977, has landed the role of Col. Hans Landa, who is the primary antagonist in the drama.
These three now join the confirmed cast including Brad Pitt, Eli Roth, Mike Myers, Michael Fassbender (Stelios in 300), B.J. Novak and Samm Levine.
Production begins Oct. 13 in Germany.
